You summed it up pretty good, Dr. Babyface!
If we could only get our political leaders to to stop allowing
the President to make all these decisions on his own!

@ Stereopirate: You might be a "Libertarian" (member of the Libertarian Party), but you are surely no "libertarian" (subscriber to the libertarian philosophy). Your argument firmly establishes you as a Neo-Conservative. This is not up for argument: the points which you make are simply incompatible with the libertarian philosophies of freedom, non-aggression, and non-intervention. Sure, the Libertarian Party gutted many of its central policy planks, despite previous adherence to principle over all, in the interest of winning elections; and perhaps you match the political classification of Libertarian, in reference to the party. You absolutely do NOT satisfy the definition of "libertarian". Therefore, I kindly ask that you refrain from hijacking our philosophy.

I don't see why they're so concerned with coal plants.

Why aren't we over-regulating Volcanoes instead? They dump the most carbon dioxide emissions into the atmosphere... coal emissions would look like tiny dots compared to these monstrosities.

This was a very well thought out article on what I hope the future will hold. Ron needs to debate and expose Obama for the person he truly is!

This is awesome! Metal rusts, gold fades, and mountains erode, but your legacy lasts an eternity...it's just a matter of what kind of legacy are you leaving. If you're a faithful husband and loving father; than you leave a strong, positive legacy. It you're an absent father and lifeless husband, than you leave a corrosive legacy.

Mind your footprint!

Strong, healthy morals with loving parents are so important.
It would be ideal of all these children who live in homes without
the above type of parent, could have loving parent(s). A father has
more influence in a child's life than they can ever imagine. Hope
that a lot of folks can go out there and try to be that powerful father
figure and change the world!

First off, very well-written article!

Now, a broader point to Obama's insincerity, is that he's been disingenuous, if not outright duplicitous, about his entire Presidency, yet hasn't been seriously called on it by any of the mainstream media.

A typical example is the silence from the White House over the carnage of the OWS protests, particularly and most recently in Oakland.
Can you imagine the media frenzy if the Bush White House would have reacted this way had this same thing happened with the Tea Party?
Would CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN, the AP & NY Times have remained silent (complicit, some might say) in not holding that Administration accountable?
It's rhetorical.

The real question is, "What can be done to undermine public confidence in a blatantly dishonest media?" - and to expose the disconnect between Obama's rank political posturing using "props" like Jobs, and his governing.
